This training focuses on providing education and awareness on the meaning of polysubstance use, the risks associated with polysubstance use, and being able to recognize the signs and symptoms of polysubstance use and overdose. The training provides a brief overview of harm reduction services and resources available, and what Presbyterian is doing to address these issues.

  • Defining Polysubstance use-
  • Be able to identify the risks associated with Polysubstance Use
  • Be able to identify signs of an Overdose.
  • Understand the impact of Polysubstance use in New Mexico.
  • Be able to define Harm Reduction
CEUs for Community Health Workers (CHW), Promotoras, Certified Peer Support Worker (CPSW), and Certified Prevention Specialist (CPS) will be available for those who attend the entire session.
